Restore & Protect Your Car with Paint Correction
TURNAROUND: 1 DAY
THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES:
Automotive paint correction is a process that eliminates minor defect in your vehicle’s clear coat, erasing them permanently and restoring the beautiful shine that you are going to want to protect going forward! Our vehicle paint correction package here at our Long Island, New York auto detailing shop is easily the simplest way to restore your vehicle’s condition while also being a precursor for your vehicle to receive one of our hydrophobic ceramic coatings or self-healing paint protection film packages.
We know that each of our paint correction packages can appear to be a complicated or perhaps intimidating process, especially since it involves abrading away some clear coat. Call us directly at (516) 567-7026 to get any remaining questions answered or to find out if your car, truck, or SUV can benefit from any one of our paint correction services here at Rich Details. When you are ready to book, note that we will perform an in-person inspection prior to performing paint correction.
While paint correction removes the majority of exterior defects that collect in your car, truck, or SUV’s clear coat, it does NOT completely guarantee the removal of everything. Auto paint correction is a process of fixing light scratches, swirl marks, marring, etching, and stains, not the paintwork itself. This means that if a scratch is too deep or wide, paint correction will NOT be applicable.
Because paint correction repairs scratches in your vehicle’s exterior clear coat, it does NOT involve the actual repainting of the vehicle itself. What actually happens during our paint correction process here at Rich Details is that the clear coat of your ride is cut with compounds to level surface defects before being buffed and polished for maximum paint gloss.
Auto paint correction services are the best way to remove the defects and discrepancies in your vehicle’s exterior surfaces BECAUSE of how noticeable the change is! While they don’t guarantee removal of the major defects or anything that has broken all the way through the clear coat on a painted panel, taking away the variety of surface defects from your finish amplifies gloss and finish clarity. And remember: the more prominent the defect itself, the more noticeable that it will be when it is removed!
